Without explanation

Despaired

Flutter by, let them fall
Such leaves as cold
Winter winds call
Crisped and dried in autumn’s wake
Where once laid joys so pliant and green
Leave’s ’neath foot, crushed and crimped,
Heels and stilettos, toes and soles,
Grinding dreams to dusty dregs
Settling deep in soils moist and sweet
Seeping deep, decay feeding roots
Of dreams of peace not seen by one,
Nurturing souls that yet may meet
Such cares, such pain
As others bare
Margins blurred
Denials rife
As peaceful skies crowd
Conflict’s Wall.

I wanted to stop by and thank you for your comment over on my blog. Leaving is hard, as was staying, as is finding and following our truth.

The poem is simply beautiful.

Greetings from a fellow nomad.
